Melissa M. Ruvolo, Esq. is a member of the New Jersey Bar and practices exclusively in the area of family and matrimonial law. Ms. Ruvolo represents clients in all stages of family law litigation and her practice involves all aspects of family law. She is also a family law mediator and trained Collaborative Divorce attorney.
Ms. Ruvolo's reported cases include Ducey v. Ducey (App. Div. 2012), which addressed the procedures trial courts must follow when entering final judgments.
Ms. Ruvolo earned her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law- Camden in 2006, with honors. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Francine I. Axelrad of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, and as an intern to the Honorable Jane B. Cantor of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Middlesex County. While in law school, she served as marketing and public relations editor for Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy and volunteered with the Camden Domestic Violence Project, where she assisted victims in preparing for court appearances and obtaining final restraining orders. Ms. Ruvolo also volunteered as a trained mediator with the Camden Community Dispute Resolution Committee (CDRC), mediating small claims matters for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Camden County. From 2009 through 2015, Ms. Ruvolo was selected for inclusion in the "New Jersey Super Lawyers - Rising Star" list by Super Lawyers Magazine.
Ms. Ruvolo previously served as a trustee on the Morris County Bar Association.

Melissa lives in Morris County with her husband, 4 children, and 6-year old German Shepherd dog. Melissa has two (yes two) sets of twins, who are 16 months apart. When she isn’t in the office or working from home, she enjoys spending family time with her kids and husband, planning themed kiddie-parties for close friends and family, and on the rare occasion, relaxing.
